Loc’d Natural
Intentional care for every stage of your loc journey.
DomSoDope is about more than maintaining a retwist. Your appointments are centered around caring for your locs intentionally, understanding what they need, and making choices that support their health, structure, and the way you want to wear them.
Whether you’re beginning your loc journey, need more hands-on care, guidance along the way, or simply a stylist you trust to consistently care for your locs, your experience is built around you.
Care That Fits You
Your locs, your routine, and the level of care you need are personal to you.
Some clients prefer to let me take the lead in maintaining their locs and do very little between appointments. Others want more guidance with upkeep, scalp care, or understanding how their locs are developing. Some already know what works for them and simply book consistently based on what their locs need.
Your routine may include regular appointments, at-home maintenance between visits, or a combination of both.
What matters is that your care makes sense for your locs, your lifestyle, and where you are in your journey.
Your Haircare Journey
When you trust me with your crown, I take that responsibility seriously.
My role is to understand your locs, listen to your goals, pay attention to how they’re developing, and give you honest guidance about what will best support their health, structure, and longevity.
Consistency is important, but it will not look the same for every loc journey. It does not always mean getting a retwist more often. Your care may include cleansing between retwists, maintaining your scalp, following an at-home routine, or allowing more time between appointments when that is what your locs need.
Your part matters too. I need you to communicate your goals, let me know when something changes, and stay consistent with the care that works for you. Locs are one of the many beautiful ways natural hair can be expressed, and your journey should still leave room for you to wear, style, and experience your locs in ways that feel like you.
We’re both part of the process—you trust me to care for your locs, and your consistency helps us work toward the results you want.
New Client or Returning Client?
Choose the path that best reflects where you are in your haircare journey.
New Client
If this is your first appointment with DomSoDope, or it has been more than 4 months since your last service with Dom, you should generally book through the New Client section. This gives me the time needed to properly understand your locs and their current needs if you’re new, or reassess your care and any changes that may have occurred if it’s been a while.
Returning Client
If you’ve been serviced within the last 4 months and are continuing the care we’ve already established, you can book through the Returning Client section.
I also understand that life happens, and consistency doesn’t look the same for every loc journey. If we’ve established a routine that includes more at-home care, longer stretches between retwists, or your locs simply don’t need to be seen as often, you may still be considered a Returning Client even after 4 months.
If you’re unsure where you fall, reach out before booking. I’d rather help you choose the right starting point for your locs than have you book the wrong service.
